Hi franken-friends!
I’ve been super busy lately, and had an unfortunate nail accident. Booo!
My nails are realllllllllly short right now, and it makes me uncomfortable just looking at them. So I am going to take a little blog vacation until they grow out a bit more. I’ve also got a ton of things to work on around my house, and now that the weather is warming up, I have some gardening to do!

I’ll be back very soon, I promise! ❤

Happy St. Patty’s Day! Of course I have a green to show you today!

For this one, I used Pure Ice Heartbreaker, OPI Sonic Bloom, and Art Deco in black.

I filled an empty bottle half full of Sonic Bloom, and added 1/4 each of Heartbreaker and black.

You can really see how vibrant the green is in this!

And check out the purple/orange flash!

I wish I could capture just how glowy this looks in real life!

I really love this one a lot…not just because it is green, but it has a beautiful color shift that catches your eye in the sun!

That’s all for today! Thanks for stopping by!:-)

Recently, I made some custom colors for a super sweet gal named Tracey. Tracey makes her own jewelry, and it isn’t just any old jewelry…it’s made with nail polish!

She was kind enough to send me two custom made rings…and I couldn’t wait to show you all!

This bold beauty is just my style…and it is GREEN!

And look at this gem…all sorts of sparkley colors (and more green!)…

(I’m wearing IsaDora Vintage Mint in the photos…in case you were curious!)
Her jewelry is unique and not something you can find in your mall! She hand makes each piece, and customized it however you want.
You can check Tracey’s store out at:
and her Flickr, with great photos of her creations…

Now, on to the really good part! Tracey has been so kind as to offer up a custom made piece of jewelry to one lucky winner! She has several different designs of earrings, rings and pendants…as well as tons of polish colors to choose from!
The contest will run for one week (March 5th-March 12th), and please, one entry per person. One random winner will be chosen on Saturday the 13th, and notified by email. Good luck! 🙂

I don’t know about you, but I am sure getting sick of all this snow, slush and cold! Only a few months left, thankfully, so I am winding down my winter-ish color frankens.

I used Wet ‘N Wild Black Creme, Sally Hansen Chromes in Platinum Chrome, and Colorona Dark Blue pigment from TKB Trading.

This polish definitely has an icy, winter feel to it! It is making me cold just looking at it!

I was pleasantly surprised how well this applied for a chrome-based polish…no brushstrokes! And I do not have a color that is close to this in my vast collection. We have a keeper!

Now, I know I keep mentioning a giveaway…I swear, I do have something awesome coming up! I will be posting it within the next few days, so check back! 🙂
